Application Acceptance

Upon successful enrollment, an official acceptance letter followed by a confirmation of placement will be emailed to the family. When a place is offered, the school fee will be due on the 25th of the month, subject to your child’s start date with the preschool. The Admission team will require the completion of pre-enrolment documents, along with any pending documents which were not provided during the time of application, to be submitted prior to the child's commencement date.

The allocation of teachers and classes will be the responsibility and decision of the Preschools.

LWPS Waitlist

If a place is not available at the point of enrollment, you may submit the registration fees, together with the required forms and application documents, in order to place your child on the waitlist. As soon as a place becomes available, the first recipient on the waitlist will be notified by the Admissions Department at admissions@lornawhiston.com.sg

LWPS Withdrawal Policy

In order to avoid any misunderstanding, distress and full liability on the subsequent monthly school fees, it is important and mandatory for families to submit their written notification of withdrawal to our preschool admin team at least 30 calendar days in advance. The withdrawal notice period is one full month and the last day of attendance must be the last calendar day of the month. No withdrawal is allowed in the month of November and December. All withdrawals ending on the last calendar day of November and December must be submitted at least by 31st October. For any withdrawal notice received after 31st October, the child's last day of school will be on the last calendar day of January in the following new year.

Please notify the Admissions department of any changes to address or contact details or if your circumstances change.

Student Pass

Lorna Whiston Preschool will register a child requiring a Student Pass with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) after acceptance and parents will process the application from there.

Please note that applicants requiring a Student Pass will be accepted onto our waitlist and no place will be reserved for the student until formal approval has been granted by the ICA. Student Pass holders can commence school after the Student ID has been issued. Student Pass holders must meet the minimum 90% monthly attendance requirements stipulated by the ICA.
